Requirements

  • A Minnesota Class A Journeyman Electrician license
  • 3+ years of experience with electrical maintenance and PLC troubleshooting in an industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, including motor controls, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
  • The ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and be a positive team player.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Allen Bradley PLC (PLC 5, SLC 500, ControlLogix, CompactLogix, and other Plc brands).
  • Experience with HMI (Allen Bradley panel view, SCADA, C-More, Wonderware, Pro-face, Schneider, and others).
  • Experience with Kuka Robotics or other robotics is a plus.
  • A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

  • Install, alter, maintain and repair electrical wiring systems, including 120/240-volt, 277/480- volt, and 4160-volt wye and delta.
  • Perform a variety of other maintenance tasks on equipment including motors up to 1250 HP, coils, transformers, power panels and motor control centers and control equipment.
  • Run rigid conduits and pull wires.
  • Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Troubleshooting complex issues with industrial equipment, including motor controls, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Working with PLCs to diagnose problems and ensure systems operate correctly.
  • Conducting routine safety checks and maintaining accurate service records.
  • Collaborating with a supportive production team to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
