About The Position

Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking an Electrician to join our team! The Electrician installs, tests and repairs electrical components and power distribution circuits. HOURS: Full Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks. Day shift, occasional weekend.

Requirements

• Knowledge of electrical standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Courses in blueprint reading, mathematics, communication, safety, schematic reading, physics and knowledge of electrical systems.
• State approved electrician apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Five years' experience as an electrician with a background in industrial and commercial construction and maintenance necessary.
• Wisconsin Electrician license preferred.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Possesses a valid Wisconsin Driver's License required.
• Annual competencies as required by Aspirus and/or various regulatory agencies based on entity and/or job position.

Nice To Haves

• An Associate/Technical School Degree in Industrial Electronics beneficial.
• Wisconsin Electrician license preferred.
