About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician for the Swing Shift position at our facility in Grants Pass, United States. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing essential electrician services throughout our facility, ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and systems. Repair, install, and maintain building wiring systems, motor control circuits, and electronic circuits Run electrical conduit within the building and on machinery Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment and recommend improvements Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in a timely manner Read and interpret electrical schematics and building drawings Provide wiring control circuit drawings as needed Conduct basic troubleshooting of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) Assist in safety maintenance throughout the facility, offices, and company property Schedule, coordinate, document, and log all daily and project work Support production goals, including working flexible hours when required Perform general cleaning in areas after maintenance work is completed Assist with production and facility equipment moves Complete all work orders in the designated system Participate in and sustain continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Valid Electrician journeyman license (required)
  • Proven experience in industrial or manufacturing electrical work
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and building drawings
  • Strong knowledge of building wiring systems, motor control circuits, and electronic circuits
  • Experience with running electrical conduit and basic PLC troubleshooting
  • Forklift certification and demonstrated competence in operation
  • Thorough understanding of lock-out procedures for facility equipment
  • Ability to make decisions requiring considerable judgment on diverse work
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Physical capability to lift heavy equipment and work in various positions
  • Flexibility to work swing shift hours and adapt to changing priorities
  • Commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of work
