About The Position

Base is America’s next-generation power company. We’re rebuilding the foundation of modern civilization–electricity–by deploying a vast network of distributed batteries that is transforming today’s fragile, centralized grid into a resilient and abundant system. We are engineers, operators, and creatives solving some of the most complex, interdisciplinary challenges of our time. About the Role Base is scaling the future of energy, and we’re looking for a Journeyman Electrician who thrives in the field. You will be on-site daily—pulling wire, opening panels, troubleshooting real problems, and setting the standard through action. You are the technical backbone of our Austin, TX battery fleet. While you’ll guide others, your primary value comes from doing the work yourself and doing it right. About This Team The Installers team is a fast-moving group of problem-solvers who believe great systems are built in the field—not on paper. We value people who show up, take ownership, and do the hard work day in and day out. As part of the Austin, TX team, you’ll bridge engineering intent with real-world execution, ensuring every Base installation sets the bar for the industry.
