The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing a variety of electrical systems and components in County owned properties. SCHEDULE: Please note this position has a 4-day work week, with occasional Fridays, evenings, and weekend shifts. This position will require CJIS (Criminal Justice Information System) Clearance prior to employment, training upon hire, and maintained indefinitely.

Maintain, repair, and install electrical systems; Including but not limited to switch gear, generators, transformers, lighting systems, ups, motors and controls, VFD's, A/C units, fuel pumps, and building automation systems.
Emergency response and on call. Including but not limited to: Floods, odors, lighting, HVAC, fire protection, and security.
Maintaining equipment related to job duties.
Maintain fire protection system; including control panels, smoke detectors, sprinklers, won doors, audio/visual, and door holders.
Maintenance of building automation systems; Including programming and testing for the needs of county employees, and or the public safety.
Install and maintain low-volt door access and controls.
This position requires after hours on-call for emergencies such as snow removal or other situations that call for essential personnel.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Three years of work-related experience.
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent degree.
Colorado Journeyman license.

Fire alarm install experience.
