About The Position

Are you an experienced and Electrician looking for a new opportunity? Adams, Inc. has been in the Electrical Contracting business in Southeastern Wisconsin since 1988. We are a family-owned, value-based construction company offering services in Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Solar, and Home Backup Power System to Residential, Commercial, and Industrial Customers. We have seven locations across Wisconsin and Illinois, and looking to expand our team in Middleton, WI. We are seeking a skilled and dependable Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial buildings and industrial settings, and potentially some Residential. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of Wisconsin electrical codes and safety regulations, strong troubleshooting abilities, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The pay range for this role is $28.53/hr. to $48.00/hr. based on licensure as well as years' and relevancy of your experience. This position is open to Non-Licensed Electricians (at least 8,000 hrs. in an electrician role), Journeyman Electricians (licensed), and Master Electricians (licensed). Requirements

HS Diploma or equivalent
Minimum licensure is Registered Electrician (not needed until start date if hired)
OSHA 10 completed within 6-months of hire date
Valid Driver's License with no major violations the past 5-years (must be able to drive a company vehicle)
At least five-years of full-time experience as an electrician.
Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety practices
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Skill in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment
Experience with PLCs, VFDs, motors, generators, transformers, and lighting systems.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
Install, modify, and troubleshoot electrical systems, such as lighting, power distribution, motors, generators, transformers, switchgear, control panels, fire alarms, and data communication.
Test and inspect electrical systems and components using appropriate tools and equipment.
Repair or replace faulty or damaged wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand and power tools.
Coordinate and communicate effectively with other tradespeople, contractors, engineers, and customers.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent.
Follow all established safety policies and procedures and report any hazards or injuries to the supervisor.
Supervise, train, and mentor apprentice electricians and helpers.
Keep current on the latest developments and innovations in the electrical field.
Perform other related duties as assigned or required.
