About The Position

Our Partners a large manufacturer in Mentor Ohio are seeking a Skilled Electrician who would be be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various construction and industrial sites. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and technical specifications, contributing to the successful completion of projects on time and within scope. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects at industrial facilities, utilizing your technical skills and problem-solving abilities.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an industrial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to electrical wiring and systems
• Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, pliers), power tools (e.g., drills), and testing instruments (e.g., ammeters, ohmmeters)
• Knowledge of high voltage electrical systems along with NEC standards for safe installation practices
• Familiarity with schematics for complex electrical systems industrial applications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety procedures
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment on construction sites and industrial facilities
• Running conduit throughout multiple facilities
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical plans
• Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ammeters and ohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices to diagnose issues
• Ensure all work adheres to the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and local safety regulations
• Conduct inspections of high voltage systems (480) to verify proper operation and safety compliance
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, including test results, schematics modifications, and safety inspections
