About the position
As an Electrician at JR Automation, you will be responsible for understanding schematics, wiring panels, and troubleshooting electrical systems. This role involves working within various industries, including construction, residential, commercial, and manufacturing, to design, build, program, and deploy custom automated equipment and solutions. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team to ensure quality and efficiency in the execution of projects.
Responsibilities
- Assemble equipment according to approved design and customer specifications.
- Troubleshoot wiring and circuits effectively and safely.
- Wire according to NEC standards and read schematics.
- Document and communicate changes and problems encountered during projects.
- Assist with the execution of ISO/Quality Standards.
- Communicate with the project team regarding open issues and progress during the build process.
- Assist with the successful execution of assigned programs related to cost, quality, timing, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of electrical experience preferred, including work in construction, residential, commercial, or manufacturing industries.
- Related vocational education or Journeyman's card preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Basic computer skills
- Intermediate knowledge of schematic interpretation, panel building, machine wiring, and troubleshooting.
- Proven mechanical aptitude with a focus on safety and quality.
