Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of residential electrical experience.
• Valid E2 Connecticut License preferred but not necessary.
• Thorough knowledge and experience with Residential Electrical Services, Panels and Grounding Systems and ability to install these systems unsupervised.
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• Confident, “in the moment” decision making ability.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Valid E2 Connecticut License preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform Installation & Maintenance : Repair and maintain electrical systems, including weather heads, meter bases, outdoor disconnects, panels, breakers, outlets, and controls, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Troubleshoot Electrical Issues : Diagnose and resolve electrical problems using specialized tools such as voltmeters and ammeters
• Collaborate with Team Members : Work closely with colleagues to plan and execute electrical installations and maintenance tasks, adhering to National Electrical Code and industry standards
• Read and Interpret Technical Diagrams : Understand and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Provide Exceptional Customer Service : Engage with customers professionally, addressing questions, explaining electrical systems, and offering maintenance advice to ensure long-term satisfaction
• Maintain Accurate Documentation : Complete necessary paperwork, including work orders and inspection reports, in a timely and accurate manner
