About The Position

Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our industrial fabrication team. In this role you will provide electrical support for the final assembly department. The role requires daily manufacturing responsibilities that are expected to be carried out with minimal supervision. Some job requirements are set in a team environment while others may be left to the individual to prioritize and schedule. A good working relationship is required with both office and factory employees.

Requirements

• Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish required
• This Position requires a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED or related experience in electrical services as determined by the plant manager
• Good verbal communication skills with employees
• Positive attitude
• Open minded with a vision for continuous improvement
• Ability to take on more responsibility as the business grows
• Have diverse knowledge of shop drawings and schematics
• Understand and follow schedules
• Willingness to travel is a plus
• Play leading role in electrical department daily tasks

Responsibilities

• Ability to bend and install conduit (Rigid, IMC, EMT) with minimal supervision
• Ability to pull and terminate wiring to electrical devices
• Ability to read and comprehend shop drawings and schematics
• Ability to oversee team(s) of mechanics and helpers
• Ability to understand and comprehend NEC codes
• Ability to test electrical components for proper functionality
• Ability to install control wiring and components
• Maintain flexibility with assigned tasks
• Understand and follow proper safety instructions
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Other duties may be added as needed by supervision
