About The Position

The Electrician position at ADM in Lincoln, NE involves building, maintaining, repairing, and installing electrical equipment across a wide range of plant operations. The role requires active participation in safety and skills training, maintaining knowledge of production processes, and performing preventive and predictive maintenance duties on plant equipment. The Electrician will diagnose electrical failures, perform repairs, and install new equipment as necessary. The position offers a starting pay of $30.00+ per hour, with a $1000 sign-on bonus and the potential for overtime, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of industrial or commercial electrical experience and/or a two-year degree.
  • Must successfully complete all ADM Safety Certification requirements.
  • Basic knowledge of process equipment.
  • Good regular and prompt attendance history.
  • Excellent safety record and awareness.
  • Previous plant/process experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Automation/PLC.
  • Experience with Low/Medium Voltage.
  • Experience in Mechanical work.
  • Experience with 480V 3PH wiring, diagnostics, and repair.
  • Experience in Millwright tasks.
  • Experience in Preventative and Predictive Maintenance.
  • Experience with Mobile Equipment (forklift or manlift).
  • Experience in Rigging.

Responsibilities

  • Participates actively in safety and skills training in pursuit of personal improvement.
  • Maintains a thorough knowledge of production processes, equipment, and operations to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions.
  • Performs preventive and predictive maintenance duties on plant equipment.
  • Diagnoses electrical failures and performs repairs on production and facilities equipment as required.
  • Installs conduit and wiring in an industrial setting.
  • Wires motors, motor starters, and a variety of other components and troubleshoots them.
  • Works with low voltage, 120v, 240v, 480v, and three-phase systems.
  • Maintains manuals of replacement parts, specifications, blueprints of equipment, and maintenance requirements.
  • Documents work order time, work performed, and parts used through the Maintenance Management System.
  • Conducts regular inspections of tools, safety, and production equipment.
  • Assists in keeping the department in tour-ready condition.
