We are looking for a talented Electrician – Level III to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Lakewood, NY . Requirements

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

One of the following minimum requirements: — At least 7 years of experience in a relevant trade field, or — A Journeyman Trade Certificate with relevant experience, or
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to interpret schematics, manuals, and blueprints.
Willingness and ability to work overtime and weekends as needed to support production.
Knowledge and understanding of the NEC and IEC (National Electrical Code and Industrial Electrical Code) is required along with training, authorization, and certification in 70E.
Knowledge and troubleshooting skills of PLC, HMI, Servo Drives, CNC, automation, and Robotic controls is required.

Nice To Haves

A 2-year technical degree in a related field, plus 3 years’ experience working in the Machine Repair/Industrial Electrical field
Ability to provide training, mentorship, and guidance to apprentices.
Relevant Experience may include: Controls Engineering Industrial Automation Robotics Residential or Commercial Electrical Heavy Duty Equipment Maintenance Welding and Fabrication Machining Farming and Agricultural work, specifically maintenance and repair of equipment
