About The Position

Electrician Industrial Greenfield Indiana Job Responsibilities Inspect, repair, install, modify, troubleshoot, testing, and maintain electrical/electronic systems, circuits, and equipment under supervision. Install and mount electrical controls, devices, panels, sensors, and system components under supervision Support testing of electrical systems and circuit continuity using appropriate tools and testing devices Read and follow blueprints, electrical layouts, and building plans to complete assignments accurately Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe, clean, and organized condition Understanding of Control Circuits Red line plans / one lines Understand UPS and generator transitions for emergency power Perform all corrective and preventive maintenance work orders under supervision as assigned. Learn and apply National Electrical Code requirements and applicable local regulations Follow all company safety policies and actively participate in safety training and jobsite practices Interact professionally with facility staff as well as customers

Requirements

  • HS Diploma
  • 2 years or more of related commercial or industrial experince as facilities maintenance technician
  • Ability to accurately read and record information
  • Must be comfortable working in animal research rooms
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision

  • Familiar with commercial or industrial electrician concepts

Responsibilities
