Requirements

  • Experience in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology or a closely related field, or demonstrated equivalent experience required
  • Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment — independently or in a team setting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and make decisions preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Mechatronics Degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a Preventive Maintenance program to prevent equipment failures.
  • Operate mobile equipment as needed.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and minimize downtime for: Manufacturing and support, electro-mechanical, and furnace combustion systems Programmable Logic Control, Human Machine Interface systems, and their companion controls Electrical power distribution system, including the facility’s production equipment electrical system AC and DC motors and drive systems
  • Read and understand systems drawings.
  • Understand the plant lubrication system and the pipe, hydraulic, pumping, and pneumatic systems, and assist Mechanics as needed.
  • Test equipment prior to Production Operator use to ensure proper and safe operation.
  • Follow safety procedures, including wearing PPE and lockout/tagout procedures.
