Electrician Helper

Innovative Electric is the sister company to Innovative Sight & Sound, the premier Charleston home technology integrator offering custom home theaters, home automation systems, and security systems. We require a clean driving record and background check Pay starting at $22 -$24 per hour for this role.
Requirements
- Construction experience or general mechanical aptitude.
- Experience using standard hand tools like power drills, wire strippers, and voltmeters.
- Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
- Responsible and consistent in showing up on time for work and performing quality work while on site.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
- An eagerness to learn and work as part of a growing team is required.

Nice To Haves
- Experience working in residential electrical field on new construction and retrofit applications a plus
- Ability to read electrical drawings and blueprints a plus
Responsibilities
- pre-wire and trim of electrical and lighting systems
- Install safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.)
- Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components
