About The Position

Work under the supervision of the Electrical Lead to assist in the production of custom equipment in the HVAC-R markets. Help electricians by performing duties requiring less skill. Duties include using, supplying or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work area and equipment.

Requirements

Use of hand tools and some power tools.
Some ability to read and understand wiring diagrams.
One plus years in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit, using measuring instruments and hand tools.
Clean work area.
Basic skills of using test meter.
Examine electrical units for loose connections and broken insulation and tighten connections, using hand tools.
Construct controllers and panels, using power drills, drill presses, taps, saws and punches.
Drill holes and pull or push wiring through openings, using hand and power tools.
Thread conduit ends and connect couplings and conduit fittings using wrench.
Secure brackets to bulkheads with screws and bolts and pull wires through conduit leading to connection boxes, switch panels, and other terminals.
Use tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, knives, hacksaws, and wire strippers.
Install and wire motors, transformers and electronic controllers.
Transport tools, materials, equipment, and supplies to work site.
