About The Position

The Electrician Helper position is located in La Grange, NC, and involves working in various environments, both interior and exterior, depending on the job site. The role requires the ability to work in all conditions daily, including restricted areas and cramped spaces, as well as at heights using ladders and scaffolds. The helper will be responsible for demonstrating safe working procedures in a construction environment and will need to have a working knowledge of conduit installation. The position also involves maintaining equipment, tools, and the work area in a clean, orderly, and safe condition, along with performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Commercial or industrial electrical experience
• A positive attitude with the eagerness to go above and beyond
• Reliability and excellent attendance
• A willingness to learn and apply knowledge
• Valid Driver's License
• Successful completion of a background and drug screening
• Ability to detect safety hazards within the building and communicate with appropriate staff as well as follow all mandated safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe working procedures in a construction environment
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of conduit installation
• Perform the proper installation procedures for boxes and fittings in a standard wall; i.e., masonry, concrete, sheetrock, etc.
• Maintain equipment, tools and work area in a clean, orderly and safe condition
• Other duties as assigned
