About The Position

The position involves repairing and assisting others in repairing all electrical systems, high and low voltage, including the fabrication and termination of new and existing systems. You will also be responsible for understanding and interpreting Walker duct systems and plan schematics, identifying problems with 277v lighting systems, and repairing boiler systems, pumps, air handling units, and VAV boxes. Additionally, you will operate computer-aided automatic logic systems and maintain a safe working environment while complying with company policies and regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience working in electrical engineering or similar field.
  • Working knowledge of related subject matter, including carpentry, plumbing, refrigeration, compressors, kitchen equipment, and remote valves.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills.
  • Effective communication skills (orally and in writing) with all levels of the casino hierarchy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements and safety procedures.
  • Ability to perform basic math skills.
  • Thorough working knowledge of MS Office programs.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain PA Harness License and Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board License.
  • Trade School Certification or equivalent professional work experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable.

Responsibilities

  • Repair and/or assist others to repair all electrical systems, high and low voltage.
  • Fabricate and terminate new and existing systems.
  • Understand, read and interpret Walker duct systems and plan schematics.
  • Identify problems with and repair 277v lighting systems.
  • Repair and/or assist others to repair boiler systems and pumps.
  • Repair and/or assist others to repair air handling units and VAV boxes.
  • Operate computer-aided automatic logic systems.
  • Maintain a well-organized, safe working environment.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform general upkeep, repair, and engineering duties as required.
