The Electrician performs scheduled electrical preventive maintenance, repairs to all types of electrical equipment. Performs electrical installation on projects.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of trade school or minimum of three (3) years electrical and mechanical experience.
• NJ Electrical License preferred for NJ Candidates

Responsibilities

• Performs outlined preventive maintenance on electrical equipment as scheduled in accordance with hospital standards, performing these duties within the established time frames.
• Repairs, installs, replaces and tests electrical circuits, equipment and appliances using appropriate tools and testing instruments.
• Performs all electrical work in the hospital including installation of new project work.
• Records and maintains daily records of work performed, in a legible fashion to ensure proper procedures are fulfilled and properly recorded.
• "On Call" rotation may be required
