As a Facilities Maintenance II here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in ensuring the effective management and operation of Honeywell's facilities. You are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities related to facility maintenance, repairs, and operations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with safety regulations, managing budgets, and coordinating maintenance tasks. Your leadership and management skills will contribute to optimizing facility performance, enhancing operational efficiency, and creating a positive and productive workplace for employees. In this role, you will impact facility-related issues proactively and will contribute to the smooth functioning of our operations as well as enhance the overall business performance. You will help create a well-managed and optimized facility infrastructure that supports our business objectives and enhances the employee experience.

  • Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on facility systems, including lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of electrical systems to identify and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure timely completion of facility projects and repairs.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain fire alarm systems, including smoke detectors, pull stations, control panels, and emergency lighting, ensuring compliance with local fire codes and NFPA standards.
  • Execute structured cabling and network infrastructure installations, including running data cables, terminating connections, and testing network performance.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems in a facility environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
  • Technical certification in electrical maintenance or a related field.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of HVAC and building automation systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
