Work from Schematics, diagrams, Bill of Materials, and instructions to wire balers and related components including Auto Tiers, MCC, CC, etc. with some supervision. Use pipe threading and bending equipment, amp probe/meter, wire cutters, wrenches, voltmeter, tape measure and a variety of other job-related tools. Must be familiar with and trained to work with voltages of 24VDC - 600 VAC. Wire motors, transformers, disconnects, valves, relays, and other related parts. Monitor and keep management apprised of shortages, quality issues, and other roadblocks that may interfere with timely completion of production requirements. Maintain accurate accounting of your time and production records using EPICOR terminals or other methods as defined by management. Must be able to efficiently work on projects with some supervision on a daily basis. Effectively communicate with supervision and other employees to establish and maintain proper flow of parts and information to and from your department. When necessary, work with your group leader, supervisor, and engineer to assure BOM and schematic accuracy. Perform other duties as assigned by group leader or supervision.
