About The Position

Electrician Associate II|Frankfort, IL| Now Hiring Compensation: $up to $38.95 per hour - depending on experience Available Shifts: 7am-7pm 2-2-3 schedule TEXT TO APPLY NUMBER: 928-668-6539 (928-NOVOLEX) Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Performs planned electrical maintenance on all equipment and machinery for the thermoforming and extrusion process to ensure the integrity of electrical systems. Includes performing basic troubleshooting and maintenance work on automation equipment. Also includes performing maintenance, set-up and PM on automation equipment. Diagnoses, troubleshoots and repair/maintain all equipment and machinery including trim presses, extruders, formers, crystallizers, dryers, conveyors, and grinders. Modifies new and existing equipment for performance improvements and upgrades. Completes paperwork accurately and in a timely manner. Responsible for ensuring housekeeping in area(s) of responsibility are safe, clean and tidy. Follows all Company established rules and policies. Adheres to all Safety rules and regulations. Perform Maintenance Connection day-by-day duties. Be able to work in all areas of production.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • 3 + years automation technician experience within the manufacturing industry, or related experience
  • Must be knowledgeable in electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, blue print reading (mechanical/electrical), welding and fabrication experience is a plus
  • Previous electrical experience with troubleshooting capabilities
  • Previous mechanical experience with troubleshooting capabilities; Knowledge of PLCs is preferred
  • Must have own tools and be able to use them safely and effectively
  • Ability to work with others effectively as a part of a team is essential
  • Flexibility to work overtime.
