About The Position

The Electrician Apprentice reports indirectly to the Electrical Superintendent, directly to the Electrician Journeyman and supports the Journeyman in the installation, maintenance, operation and repair of electrical systems by handling tools, testing malfunctioning equipment and identifying defects. The incumbent is responsible for completing electrical wiring tasks, alignment adjustments and calibration of equipment following manuals, schematics, drawings, diagrams, blueprints, and code. Requirements

High School Diploma, or Equivalent
One (1) year electrical experience; industrial industry, preferred
Current and valid driver's license, with clean driving record required depending on location
Current OSHA 10 and Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) certificates or be able to obtain upon hire
Take and pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.

Nice To Haves

Apprentice License in from the state of Utah preferred OR

Responsibilities

Reads and interprets drawings, blueprints, and electrical codes
Assists Journeymen with installation tasks
Measures, cutes, and bends wire and conduit, using measuring instruments and hand tools
