Chevron’s Shale & Tight Business is accepting online applications for the position of Electrician Apprentice located in Midland/Odessa, TX, through March 31, 2026, at 11:59 PM (Central Standard Time). The Electrician Apprenticeship is designed to build technical skills in the electrical and Lineman discipline and gain experience in field operations. As part of the program, apprentices will assist in installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical power distribution systems and related equipment. This role supports safe and reliable operation of facilities and field assets by performing work on overhead and underground electrical systems, substations, and associated electrical infrastructure in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and safety procedures. Through a combination of structured training and immersive on-the-job learning, Apprentices are introduced to the complexity and criticality of work management, maintenance execution, and equipment servicing/repair. The position provides direct exposure to the Chevron Way Values and the strong safety culture that defines the Shale & Tight Business. Apprentices will work closely with a dedicated mentor, complete two assignments across different operational areas to develop a broad understanding of how teams and functions work together to safely deliver production and minimize downtime, and will also participate in computer-based and classroom training. This is a temporary 6‑month field-based position.
