About The Position

The Electrician Apprentice II assists journeyman electricians in performing electrical work related to the distribution, operation, preventive maintenance, and repair of primary electrical systems across the College campus. This includes maintaining electrical equipment in various buildings, dormitories, historical homes, office buildings, and large facilities. The apprentice will assist electricians with troubleshooting and repairing electrical circuits, including distribution panels, transformers, motor control centers, automatic transfer switches, and all associated wiring.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• At least 2 years of electrical experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical equipment.
• Valid SC driver's license.
• Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

• Electrical trade education.
• Knowledge of campus layout and buildings.
• Experience in utilizing online work order systems.

Responsibilities
