About The Position
The Electrician position involves traveling to various County buildings and EMA siren locations to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems. The role requires the operation of electronic testing equipment and power tools to perform job duties such as installing and repairing light switches, outlets, and building electrical systems. The electrician will also be responsible for testing fire systems in County facilities, servicing and repairing fire alarm and smoke detectors, and maintaining service and repair records. The position requires interpreting blueprints for electrical projects and cooperating with other trades for construction and maintenance tasks. Additionally, the electrician will purchase supplies, stock materials, and demonstrate regular attendance.
