About The Position

Mister Sparky is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Materials & Fleet Coordinator to support our growing team. This role is key to ensuring our electricians and field crews have the right materials and equipment—on time and in top condition. You’ll oversee warehouse operations, keep our fleet of vehicles safe and operational, and play a vital part in keeping projects running smoothly.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in warehouse operations, staging, or logistics preferred.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs regularly).
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management and organization systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Stage and prepare materials for specific jobs or projects based on schedules and work orders.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and track stock levels.
  • Load, unload, and stage materials for delivery or pickup.
  • Ensure materials are labeled, organized, and stored properly.
  • Coordinate with field teams to ensure timely preparation and delivery.
  • Deliver material to job site at times.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Report shortages, damages, or discrepancies in materials.
  • Assist in general warehouse duties as needed.
  • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs on company vehicles and equipment.
  • Schedule and track preventive maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and safety checks.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records for all fleet vehicles and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Coordinate with drivers and field teams to ensure fleet availability for jobs.
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns or emergency repairs.
