Electrical Trainee - M3C
About The Position
Mark III is currently looking to add Electrical Trainees to our team in the M3 Components division. Please note that joining the Carpenters Union is a requirement for this position. Unlike many construction roles, this position does not require traveling from job site to job site. You will report to the same location each day, working in a controlled shop environment supporting our prefabrication and component manufacturing operations. Who we are: Mark III is a full-service construction company comprised of three complementary business units: M3 MEP, M3 Service, and M3 Components. We support projects from initial concept through long-term maintenance, with specialized expertise in healthcare, higher education, industrial, life science, and technology markets. Our integrated, big-picture approach allows us to self-perform electrical, HVAC, plumbing, process piping, prefabrication, and MEP design. By consolidating these services under one organization, clients benefit from reduced profit layers, minimized scope gaps, and simplified project schedules—working with a single, accountable partner rather than multiple consultants and subcontractors. Headquartered in Sacramento, California, Mark III operates throughout California and Nevada. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility serves as a centralized hub supporting five core trades: HVAC, mechanical piping, plumbing, electrical, and metal-stud framing. To support our continued growth, we will be relocating from our current combined 62,000 square feet of office and operational space to a new 340,000-square-foot headquarters at 2031 Optisolar Lane, with the move planned for completion by the end of Q2 2026. Requirements
- Mark III Construction, Inc. is seeking Electrical Trainees for an immediate opportunity.
- Applicants must have commercial/ industrial experience, have an active ET card, and be able to work with limited supervision.
- Must have active Trainee card number registered and verifiable through the DIR
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid DL
- Safety focused at all times

Nice To Haves
- Ability to read and understand blueprints preferred
- 2+ years of commercial construction experience preferred
- Ability to take initiative and be self-sufficient and think outside the box
Responsibilities
- Move material to required locations
- Clean tools and equipment
- Select and set up equipment for pulling and bending
- Make up simple boxes and assemblies
- Install panel boards and load centers
- Build from drawings in Stratus in a productive manner
- Keep a clean and organized work area
- Install assemblies into wall panels and pods
- Build UG duct bank systems and package for projects
- Assemble and terminate switchgear and panel assemblies
