Raytheon is seeking successful Electrical Test Technician to perform any combination of the following tasks in support of the evaluation/rework/repair of various product lines including (but not limited to) electronics assemblies, high-power distribution assemblies, electromechanical assemblies, cable/harness assemblies, electronics rack-mount systems/chassis, circuit card assemblies, and other similar-complexity assemblies. What You Will Do Troubleshoot STE including but not limited to Automation assemblies, electrical and RF pathways, mechanical and pneumatic assemblies. Perform troubleshooting of Power Supplies, O-scopes, Signal Generators, etc. Evaluate failed electrical assemblies, products, components, and software – using test and measurement equipment to determine the root cause of failure down to the component level – with strong emphasis on evaluation hands-on experience. Troubleshoot equipment ranging from 25-350VDC and 10-1000Amps. Electronic troubleshooting through technical experience and knowledge – NOT through the use of pre-written step-by-step procedures Strong sense of ownership and self-driven to meet or exceed deliverable expectations. Work with senior Electrical Engineering, test technicians, Operations Management, and product Quality Assurance towards evaluating, repairing, and moving failed assemblies through established Repair & Return processes. Read and interpret Assembly Drawings and Schematics Maintain control of all Electro-static Sensitive Device (ESD) precautions and processes – ensuring full compliance to established ESD processes. Train Acceptance Technicians to Audit level readiness and compliance of test operations per Assembly Instructions & Test Procedures. Support the culture of Continuous Process Improvements (CPI) Projects This will be a 1st shift 6am-3:30pm, onsite role.

  • Troubleshoot STE including but not limited to Automation assemblies, electrical and RF pathways, mechanical and pneumatic assemblies.

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of recent relevant experience.
  • Experience utilizing test and evaluation measurement equipment, such as Digital Multimeters (DMMs), Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and RF equipment.
  • Experience with Electrical/electronic evaluation/troubleshooting experience of test equipment and product testing.
  • Experience working on High Voltage equipment in the ranges up to 480VAC or 400VDC, and Amperages ranging up to 1000A.
  • Experience in training or developing training plans.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Power point, etc.)
  • CMES/SAP experience
  • Electrical Test Technical degree
  • Experience in Electrical Power troubleshooting
  • Production Testing Experience
