The Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) organization includes all the engineering disciplines responsible for systems design & testing of all Raytheon products. Our engineers are responsible for all elements of the development lifecycle for testing including test requirements, test system design, advanced engineering prototyping technology, flight operations, environmental testing, and environmental characterization. We are hands-on, designing with the latest technology and tools, and integrate state-of-the-art test solutions with the most advanced engineering systems in the world.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred).
  • Experience troubleshooting with commonly used test equipment, including: Oscilloscopes Network Analyzers Spectrum Analyzers Digital Multimeters
  • Experience using Hands-on hardware integration and troubleshooting
  • Experience designing, developing, and integrating object-oriented software applications using C# in Microsoft Visual Studio within a Windows OS environment.
  • Ability to read or generate schematic diagrams.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain/maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the design and development of digital and analog test system products.
  • Working knowledge of common computer hardware interfaces and data protocols, such as TCP/IP, UDP, or RS-422.
  • Experience with CAD tools like AutoCAD and Creo for hardware design and documentation.
  • Experience working on military systems testing and evaluation.
  • Experience with data analysis

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and update custom test equipment hardware for launcher, radar, and missile non-tactical test systems.
  • Support critical process gates, including design reviews, to ensure successful project execution.
  • Troubleshoot TCP/IP connection-based systems and Circuit Card Assembly troubleshooting.
  • Perform integration, verification, and qualification testing to ensure the system under test performs according to specifications.
  • Work across disciplines to address program requirements while ensuring cost and schedule objectives are met.
  • The successful candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, and a commitment to innovation in support of our mission.
  • Travel domestically and internationally as needed (~10–20%).
