About The Position

Responsibilities include support of Thermal/Vacuum (TVAC) testing at the Space Simulation Lab (SSL) for Environmental Test Labs and Services (ETLS). Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot TVAC test support equipment to meet program requirements. Document efforts using schematics, drawings, procedures, and lab practices. Assist test engineers and technicians with build, installation, and operations. Ensure delivery of test data. Troubleshoot any issues or anomalies. Lockheed Martin is an equal opportunity employer. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent degree from an accredited college with 2 years of professional experience. A Master’s degree in a related field can be substituted for 2 years of experience.
  • Experience with electrical test equipment such as power supplies, digital multimeters, data acquisition control systems, and/or mechanical control systems.
  • Proficiency with an electrical schematic drawing packages such as AutoCAD or Creo.
  • US Citizen with the ability to obtain a clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with developing software in LabVIEW.
  • Knowledge/familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers.
  • Knowledge/familiarity with Rockwell Logix software.
  • Experience with industrial control system design.
  • Experience with industrial automation systems.
  • Experience working in a test lab environment.
  • Experience with software and control systems.
  • Experience with component and system level thermal/vacuum testing.
  • Experience with test instrumentation.
  • Experience with data manipulation and analysis.
  • Current TS/SCI w/poly.
