About The Position

As a Electrical Test Engineer in Fargo, ND, you will: Develop detailed subsystem test specifications covering functional, performance, interlock, and diagnostic requirements Execute tests on vehicles, benches, and simulators; collect and analyze data Document test results and report issues using Polarion; maintain and update issue status Track issues through resolution and validate corrective actions with design teams Communicate project issue status and escalate significant risks or roadblocks Support troubleshooting and diagnostics of electronic systems Collaborate across engineering and production teams to ensure test readiness and accuracy Work collaboratively with suppliers and Applied partners Contribute to projects that impact communities in West Fargo, Horace, Harwood, Moorhead, and Dilworth, and the greater Fargo-Moorhead metro Apply your skills in a dynamic environment that values ownership and innovation

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering preferred; Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering can be considered
  • Experience in electronic troubleshooting and diagnostics
  • Ability to create and interpret electrical test specifications and documentation
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, and MS Office tools
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and hydraulic vehicle systems
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Background in agricultural, construction, automotive, or related industries
  • Experience with data acquisition systems and test instrumentation in a lab environment
  • Familiarity with Vector CANalyzer, MATLAB, Simulink, LabVIEW, INCA, Greenhill, PLCs, and/or VeSys
  • Experience supporting vehicle‑level testing or embedded system validation
  • Knowledge of CAN communications a plus
  • Capable of working independently and as a team member
  • Strong work ethic and unwavering integrity
