At our Fort Wayne South site, we specialize in the commercial manufacturing of Aircraft/Engine Controls and Systems, which includes manufacturing Circuit Card Assemblies. We are expanding our facility to integrate US defense into our production. Please use the following link to learn more about our US Controls and Avionics business: Controls & Avionics Solutions As an Electrical Test Engineer position supporting our Aftermarket Teams you will make impacts in the following ways; Troubleshoot Circuit Card Assemblies at both a unit and circuit card assembly level, looking at failed circuits, isolating the fault down to a component level, and then dispositioning the repair procedures Assist in the investigation of root cause of product performance and failures. Perform detailed test planning and associated test implementation activities including final product review documentation. Assist in executing test plans and priorities on the test floor. Support our manufacturing floor as needed to ensure that product continues to move through the process and play a vital part of instilling our company’s value of maintaining a lean culture. While seeking out continuous improvement opportunities. Additional Information: This 2nd shift position supports flexible start times between 12pm and 3pm EST. A 10% of salary shift differntial is offered for this position Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed fulltime on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time. Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology (EET), Electrical Engineering (EE), and 2 or more years related work experience
  • Electronics component troubleshooting and instrument familiarity (analog and/or digital)
  • Proficiency and experience with analog and/or digital electronics and embedded systems
  • Capable of using standard electrical lab and test equipment
  • Required to enter FAA mandated Anti-Drug Pool. Subject to random drug testing.
  • General understanding of electronics manufacturing process
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves
