  • Assemble, install, and wire electrical components and systems according to schematics and specifications.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions in equipment, utilizing knowledge of electrical theory and testing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and modify PLC programs (Beckhoff and Siemens) based on engineer instructions.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and Servo Drive systems.
  • Update and modify electrical schematics using ePlan Electrical CAD software.
  • Identify opportunities to improve electrical system reliability, efficiency, and safety.
  • Maintain accurate records of all installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Occasionally travel out to customer sites to handle any problems that arise.
  • 2-year electrical, technical, or related degree or equivalent technical certifications and experience.
  • At least 1 year of proven experience as an Electrical Technician in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of industrial electrical principles, including AC/DC circuits, motor controls, and safety systems.
  • Knowledge of Beckhoff and Siemens PLCs, with the ability to interpret and modify ladder logic and other PLC code.
  • Knowledge of VFD and Servo Drive systems, including their installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge in using ePlan Electrical CAD software for schematic design and modification.
  • Excellent diagnostic and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex electrical issues.
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively with engineers and other team members.
  • Base salary range of $38 - $48 per hour plus benefits and overtime on occasion with reasonable notice.
