In this role, you will help develop and document electrical design solutions for a wide range of building and infrastructure projects. SEH’s M/E teams design efficient, reliable, and stable systems that serve as the backbone of highly functional facilities—from skyscrapers to water and wastewater facilities.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in Electrical System Design or related field
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
  • Knowledge of applicable electrical codes
  • Understanding of: Indoor and outdoor lighting design Voltage drop calculations Power distribution system design

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of practical electrical design experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong coordination skills across multiple disciplines
  • Willingness to travel as needed for: Team meetings Client consultations Field surveys and construction observation
  • Capability to manage and produce electrical construction documents

Responsibilities

  • Develop electrical design solutions for commercial, municipal, industrial, and utility facilities
  • Produce construction documents, including drawings and specifications
  • Coordinate with engineers, designers, and other disciplines on multi‑discipline project teams
  • Support projects ranging from preliminary studies to full construction documentation
  • Assist with field surveys, construction observation, and client coordination as needed
