In this role, you will help develop and document electrical design solutions for a wide range of building and infrastructure projects. SEH’s M/E teams design efficient, reliable, and stable systems that serve as the backbone of highly functional facilities—from skyscrapers to water and wastewater facilities.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Electrical System Design or related field
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- Knowledge of applicable electrical codes
- Understanding of: Indoor and outdoor lighting design Voltage drop calculations Power distribution system design
Nice To Haves
- 5+ years of practical electrical design experience
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong coordination skills across multiple disciplines
- Willingness to travel as needed for: Team meetings Client consultations Field surveys and construction observation
- Capability to manage and produce electrical construction documents
Responsibilities
- Develop electrical design solutions for commercial, municipal, industrial, and utility facilities
- Produce construction documents, including drawings and specifications
- Coordinate with engineers, designers, and other disciplines on multi‑discipline project teams
- Support projects ranging from preliminary studies to full construction documentation
- Assist with field surveys, construction observation, and client coordination as needed
