Electrical Technician, Engineering ($20.00-$27.00/hr)

As a member of the Engineering Team, this role will responsible for the maintenance, repair, installation, and operation of electrical components throughout the hotel complex and outlying areas. Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification.
- The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally required to lift/push/pull up to 50.

- Strong interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities
- Responds to customer complaints in a timely manner.
- Executes the installation of electrical panels and associated piping and wiring as directed.
- Assist the Convention Service department as required.
- Plans, directs, and records periodic electrical testing, and recommends or initiates modification or replacement of equipment which fails to meet acceptable operating standards.
- Assist Housekeeping department to resolve lighting problems as required.
- Conduct shop inventories as directed.
- Comply with established safety rules and health regulations of The BROADMOOR Hotel and Engineering department.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
