About The Position

Join Amcor as an Electrical Technician and help keep our state-of-the-art equipment running at its best. In this role, you’ll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and control systems to support safe, efficient, and reliable production. Your skills will directly impact our ability to deliver high-quality packaging solutions to customers worldwide. Schedule Shift: Monday – Thursday, 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in electrical/electronics preferred
  • 3+ years of experience as an electrical technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and electrical troubleshooting
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and maintenance systems
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work safely with high-voltage systems and equipment
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and working 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on electrical and control systems
  • Install, modify, and maintain motors, drives, PLCs, and related equipment
  • Support preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime
  • Ensure compliance with safety, EHS, and operational standards
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively
  • Document work performed and maintain accurate records
  • Proactively identify improvement opportunities for equipment reliability and efficiency

  • Pay: $31.98- $35+/hour (based on experience) + $1.50/hour night shift premium
  • Overtime: 1.5x pay for hours over 40 per week
