About The Position

Lincoln Electric is seeking an experienced Electrical Quality Technician to support manufacturing operations by ensuring product quality, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement. This role works cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, and R&D to troubleshoot, inspect, maintain, and improve equipment and processes while upholding quality and safety standards. Requirements

  • Technician III: Vocational training with 5+ years of relevant experience, or HS Diploma/GED with 7+ years of experience.
  • Technician IV :Vocational training with 8+ years of relevant experience, or HS Diploma/GED with 10+ years of experience.
  • May act as a lead, coordinating and facilitating the work of others.
  • Experience with manufacturing quality standards and engineering principles.
  • Interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Proficient with measurement and inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
  • Ability to use a digital multimeter (DMM) for electrical measurements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows OS.
  • Ability to stand/walk frequently and lift up to 60 lbs. (on occasion).

Nice To Haves

  • Equipment and/or electronics troubleshooting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support and promote continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
  • Diagnose failed machinery – focusing on electrical aspects.
  • Enforce quality standards and identify, tag, and assist with disposition of non-conforming materials.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production quality issues.
  • Diagnose and repair machines and/or PC boards tagged as non-conforming.
  • Support the design, introduction, inspection, and maintenance of new and existing equipment.
  • Maintain inspection, test, and quality performance records.
  • Initiate CAPA determinations and support yield improvement efforts.
  • Perform audits and assist with quality training for production personnel.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on the shop floor and report safety incidents or near misses.
