About The Position

This role supports electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of plant and field systems. The Electrician will inspect, install, repair, calibrate, and program electrical and electronic apparatus, devices, and circuits across multiple voltages. This position involves both preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure reliability, safety, and compliance with OEM specifications. Candidates must demonstrate hands-on industrial experience with PLCs, VFDs, and communication systems, along with a strong commitment to safe work practices in a manufacturing or oilfield environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum: High School Diploma or GED
  • Preferred: Technical Degree or Electrical Certification
  • 5+ years of industrial electrical maintenance and repair experience
  • Strong proficiency with Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens equipment preferred
  • Expertise in PLC programming, VFD systems, and Level I/II communication systems
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, project management, and development software

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish bilingual a plus
  • Completion of IADC RigPass, SafeLand, or Expand Energy equivalent orientation required

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, install, modify, and maintain all electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical malfunctions to OEM standards.
  • Assist with the design and servicing of electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and control systems.
  • Program and maintain PLC and VFD systems, ensuring system integrity and uptime.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and work orders.
  • Perform routine inspections and reliability checks to ensure compliance with operational and safety standards.
  • Participate in daily Line-Out meetings to ensure effective communication between shifts.
  • Support startup, shutdown, and changeover activities for production equipment.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work area while following PPE and JSA guidelines.
  • Operate within established SOPs and assist in preventive maintenance programs.

Benefits

  • Compensation: $50/hr.
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday | 5/2 | On-call rotation as required
