About The Position
Southern Careers Institute (SCI) is seeking a part-time Electrical Technician Instructor for evening classes. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about teaching and eager to make a difference in the lives of students pursuing careers in the electrical field. As an instructor, you will be responsible for delivering course materials and instruction for academic programs offered by the institution, ensuring that students are well-prepared for the workplace. You will work collaboratively with other educators and campus faculty to create an interactive and optimized learning environment that fosters student success. In this role, you will maintain student records, participate in curriculum development and revision, and adhere to all institutional educational policies and procedures. Your primary responsibility will be to aid students in achieving their goals of being trained and placed in the workforce, delivering a Student First experience. This is a unique opportunity to engage with students and help them develop the skills necessary for a successful career in the electrical industry. No prior teaching experience is required, making this an excellent opportunity for seasoned electricians looking to transition into education.
