About The Position

Electrical technicians play a vital role in bringing these designs to life through accurate documentation and coordination. We’re seeking an Electrical Technician I who is detail-oriented, motivated, and eager to grow. This role supports electrical engineers and project teams by producing high-quality construction documents and assisting with electrical system layouts. It’s an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to build a strong technical foundation within a collaborative, design-driven firm.

Requirements

  • Foundational understanding of electrical drafting and documentation.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, redlines, and verbal instructions.
  • Working knowledge of general building construction terminology.
  • Ability to visualize three-dimensional construction and installation processes.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Collaborative, professional mindset with a willingness to learn.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1–3 years of electrical CADD or drafting experience.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Revit documentation required.
  • Intermediate proficiency in AutoCAD required.
  • Basic proficiency in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in CAD Electrical Design/Drafting or technical certificate in Electrical Drafting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support electrical engineers and designers by preparing and modifying electrical drawings using Revit.
  • Translate redlines and markups into accurate construction documents under supervision.
  • Assist with the development of electrical plans, details, schedules, riser diagrams, and one-line diagrams.
  • Follow established project setup, file management, backup, and archive protocols.
  • Assist in reviewing drawings for accuracy and adherence to department standards.
  • Help develop and manage Revit families, templates, and drawing standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on integrated project documentation.
  • Participate in team discussions focused on improving workflow, efficiency, and quality.
