About The Position

At M2X Energy, we’re rethinking how fuels and chemicals are made — turning stranded natural gas into valuable, low-carbon products that help combat climate change. As an Electrical Technician & Assembler, you’ll build and integrate the electrical backbone of our next-generation modular systems — from low-voltage controls to high-voltage panels. This is a hands-on role where you’ll wire, assemble, and test electrical systems, ensuring every connection is safe, reliable, and ready for deployment. Requirements

  • A foundation in Electrical Technology, Engineering, or a related field (a technical diploma, associate degree, or equivalent background) and 3–5 years of hands-on experience as an electrical technician, assembler, or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, wiring practices, and panel assembly.
  • Comfort working with both low- and high-voltage systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and execute with accuracy.
  • Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in electrical systems.
  • A safety-first mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or on a team.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Electrical technician certification or electrician’s license.
  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic and testing tools (e.g., multimeters, process calibrators, HART communicators).
  • Mechanical assembly or pipe fitting experience to support system integration.
  • Comfortable working in varied environments, including confined spaces or at heights.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble & Integrate: Build electrical systems and components, mount equipment, and connect instruments into the overall system.
  • Wire with Precision: Install and organize LV/HV panels and wiring to meet safety codes and make troubleshooting straightforward.
  • Test & Validate: Perform system checkouts, support factory acceptance testing (FAT), and partner with engineers to resolve issues quickly.
  • Ensure Quality: Conduct inspections of assemblies, wiring, and components to confirm they meet design and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate for Success: Work closely with engineers, project managers, and fellow technicians to deliver on timelines and improve processes.
  • Champion Safety: Follow all safety protocols, keeping compliance and workplace safety top of mind in every task.
