About The Position

As an Electrical Team Manager, you will direct electrical maintenance personnel, ensure adherence to Westinghouse safety standards and processes. Manage resources to ensure that you train, qualify, and schedule the Electrical shop personnel appropriately to support production and facility needs. You will report to the Maintenance Manager and be located at Columbia, SC. You will support this role 100% onsite.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 10 + years' experience as a qualified Industrial Electrician
  • At least 8 years in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • 5+ years as a manager or supervisor in a manufacturing or a production facility.

Responsibilities

  • Strengthen that the department's overriding priority is to protect our employees, the public, and the environment. Ensure Electrical shop personnel understand and comply with our core Nuclear Safety Culture principles, including prioritizing industrial, criticality, chemical, radiological and environmental safety.
  • Set daily operational priorities for the electrical shop personnel.
  • Direct reports understand and follow applicable policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Review Work Orders and Dispatches in L2L (computerized maintenance management system), ensure work is appropriately prioritized.
  • Make determinations whether Maintenance or F&I (Fabrication & Installation) should be assigned requested work.
  • Ensure work performed by assigned staff members is appropriately documented and closed in L2L
  • Coordinate scheduling of maintenance activities, personnel loading and task walkdowns with Work Management
  • Manage Electrical shop craft utilization with a focus on controlling costs and budget.
  • Develop and maintain appropriate reports and metrics to validate safety, craft use, task delivery and cost performance
