About The Position
Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Systems Safety Engineer on the Air Dominance, Air Proprietary 1 (AP1) Program in Hazelwood, MO. Our team are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Mid-Level, Senior, and Principal. Here is a phenomenal opportunity to execute development excellence on an exciting, fast-paced, and critically important program in the Boeing Defense, Space, & Security (BDS) Air Dominance (AD) division. The selected candidate will provide the technical guidance and perform critical system safety engineering work. The work will consist of planning, coordinating, and performing detailed System Safety tasks such as system and subsystem hazard analysis, fault tree analysis, and software safety analysis to mitigate potential product safety hazards. In addition to working with System Safety personnel, the individual will work extensively with design, development, and test personnel to impart safety requirements early in the design process. These tasks are accomplished within a collaborative environment with other program teams to assist with and/or plan design, develop, and verify lifecycle balanced system solutions including resolution of multi-functional technical issues.
