About The Position

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Basic computer literacy; familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to follow and document work via digital work instructions
  • Available to work extended hours and weekends as needed
  • Willingness to travel for short and extended trips (up to 10%)
  • Ability to distinguish between wire colors
  • General understanding of electronic components, electronics design, and manufacturing
  • Willingness to learn full harness fabrication and assembly processes
  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted
  • Capable of bending, stooping, crawling, and maneuvering in tight spaces
  • Ability to perform all job functions safely and professionally
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Professional, personable demeanor
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
  • Enthusiastic about learning new technologies and techniques
  • Creative, open-minded, and enjoys problem-solving
  • Takes pride in building clean, organized, high-quality parts and assemblies
  • Positive attitude and commitment to team culture
  • 5+ years of experience in harness fabrication or related work
  • Track record of leading projects or initiatives in a production environment
  • Experienced in training higher-level technicians
  • Able to implement key ideas and process improvements that drive company growth
  • Proficient in troubleshooting complex electrical systems, isolating faults, and performing component-level repairs
  • Ability to self-inspect work in applicable wiring areas
  • Operates and interprets acceptance tests for electrical systems
  • Collaborates with Engineering to define and improve digital work instructions
  • Experienced in process and procedure development
  • Familiar with Toyota Production System, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies

Nice To Haves

  • An Associate’s or higher technical degree is a bonus
  • IPC-A-620 and/or IPC-J-STD-001 certifications are a strong plus
  • Knowledge of FAA certification standards is a plus
  • Background in electrical systems quality inspection is highly valued
