Find your future with us. The Electrical Systems Design Engineer will lead the design, development, and implementation of control systems for advanced robotic automation projects. This role emphasizes PLC programming, robotic integration, and industrial control system design, including electrical schematics and control panel builds. The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on experience designing, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting complex automated systems in manufacturing or process environments. Our team is currently hiring for a level 2 and 3.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Mechatronics, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in industrial control system design and PLC programming. (level 2 align with years of experience)
• Proven experience with robotic automation systems and motion control applications.
• Demonstrated ability to create electrical drawings and build or oversee the build of control panels
• Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, ProfiNet, Modbus TCP, etc.)
• Familiarity with machine and functional safety systems
• Applicants MUST be U.S. citizens and eligible for a security clearance.
• Additionally, applicants must be willing to apply for and maintain a security clearance.
• This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
• This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret/SCI Clearance Post-Start is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, and integrate PLC-based control systems for robotic and automated machinery
• Develop detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and I/O documentation
• Design and oversee the build of control panels, ensuring compliance with relevant electrical and safety standards
• Specify and configure hardware components such as PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, sensors, and safety devices
