About The Position
The position involves ensuring safety, housekeeping, scheduling, training, evaluations, and daily activities for the electrical maintenance team. The role includes managing the electrician maintenance apprenticeship program and tracking all training progress. The individual will provide direction to electrical maintenance staff, including day shift trades, shift support electricians, and contractors as needed. Evaluating maintenance effectiveness through metrics, implementing improvement plans, and enhancing systems through root cause analysis, trend analysis, and preventive/predictive maintenance are key responsibilities. Additionally, the role requires managing and achieving budget objectives for expenses and capital expenditures within the cost center, overseeing repair parts ordering, stocking, and obsolescence in collaboration with the plant procurement team, and completing continuous improvement projects.
