About The Position

You will lead the Electrical Department by training and developing employees, overseeing daily operations, and supporting plant-wide goals. You will manage departmental planning and budgeting, assign work, and coordinate maintenance activities. Responsibilities include designing and installing electrical systems, supervising motor installation and repair, conducting preventative maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with MSHA and NEC standards. You will interpret technical documents, maintain production schedules, and identify opportunities to improve processes, equipment performance, and product quality. As a supervisor, you will hire, train, evaluate, and motivate staff; enforce safety procedures; manage timecards; and resolve performance or operational concerns. You will collaborate with other departments, lead safety and continuous improvement meetings, maintain training records, and ensure strong housekeeping standards across the plant. Requirements

  • Electrical Engineering degree preferred
  • Prior supervisory experience required
  • Journeyman’s License / Journeyman Electrician required
  • Strong math skills (probability, geometry, trigonometry; fractions, ratios, percentages)
  • Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and interpret technical instructions
  • Proficient with SAP (requisitions, work orders)
  • Working knowledge of database, design, manufacturing, order‑processing, project‑management, spreadsheet, and word‑processing software
