About The Position

The Electrical Superintendent at Encore Electric, Inc. is responsible for supervising Journeymen and Apprentices in various electrical construction projects. This role involves ensuring safety, quality control, and productivity while managing project schedules and resources. The Superintendent acts as a leader in the field, providing training and mentorship to staff, and is accountable for the overall success of the project.

Requirements

• Active Journeyman Electrician's license in the State of Colorado or a reciprocating state.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field is preferred.
• Four years of apprenticeship training or three years with a two-year degree plus ten years of progressive experience, including six years as a Foreman.
• Knowledge of electrical construction processes and national electrical code.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with project financials and budgeting.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all levels of Foremen, Journeymen, and Apprentices, demonstrating high-level leadership skills.
• Train, develop, mentor, and coach future supervisors and crew members.
• Communicate project goals and maintain crew morale.
• Engage in process improvement and develop new standards for Encore Electric.
• Manage project schedules and ensure adequate resources are available.
• Act as a frontline field representative and maintain communication with customers and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control measures.
• Participate in meetings and provide feedback on project progress.
