About The Position

Siemens Logistics LLC is searching for Electrical Superintendent for the Airport Logistics Operation to support our Airport Projects in Denver (West Coast Operations). You will perform on-site technical and operational support in the design, development, installation and maintenance of baggage handling systems of a complex nature.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification may be required in some areas.
  • Broad knowledge on installation of conveyor equipment for baggage handling systems.
  • Broad experience in electrical installation.
  • Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments. Successfully applies complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization. Demonstrates knowledge of organization's business practices and issues. Typically 5-8 years of successful experience in site supervision and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.
  • Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable.
  • Direction of Others: Provide general guidance or train support and/or professional staff.
  • Key Working Relationships: Primarily intra-organizational contacts and external contacts.
  • Travel: 95% assigned to specific project and 5% to support other projects

Responsibilities

  • Reports to the Site Manager.
  • Supervises mechanical and electrical subcontractors to ensure they adhere to the project schedule.
  • Performs complex site surveys to develop base or installation design plans. Performs training customers to maintain and adjust complex equipment.
  • Completes and submits reports covering all job activity.
  • Performs in maintaining complex tools, test equipment, calibration items, etc.
  • Performs the review of complex task plans, drawings, and installation schematics and provides continual guidance to subcontractors throughout task duration.

  • The starting pay range for this position is $86,700- $117,000. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
